Amusement Park Guide
with Cost Cutters

Area amusement parks and waterparks are unveiling exciting new attractions, improvements and entertainment this season.

Six Flags Great Adventure will debut a revamp of the Medusa rollercoaster at the end of the month; Sesame Place now features a giant Splash Castle; and Hersheypark launches a two-part SEAquel water attraction following the success of its 2007 Boardwalk addition. Speaking of boardwalks, family favorites down the shore are also featured in our round-up.

The listings that follow include what’s new for this season, opening dates and current rates. Several sites offer reduced admission later in the day or multiple-day discounts. For each park, we’ve noted “Cost Cutters”— reduced evening rates, multiple-day discounts and other ways to save.
